Patriots Muzzle Bulldogs








The Patriots played like a team on a mission in the opening round of the state tournament against Yellow Springs.  The host team built an early lead and kept the pressure on throughout the game as they run ruled the Bulldogs 14-2 in 5 innings.  Offensively, they scored in every inning and Derek Eyer hit his 2nd home run of the year, this time on his home turf.  Defensively they took care of the ball and maybe had one error.

Patriots Thwart Panther Comeback, Win in 9 Innings













The young Tri-Village Patriots fast pitch team has had to work for every win this season.  Their last regular season game was a win – but it took 9 innings.  The young team could not put the Twin Valley South Panthers away.  They allowed the home team 8 runs in the 7th inning and the game went to extra innings with the teams knotted at 12 runs apiece.  The Patriots were able to break the tie and win 14-13 even though the Panthers almost made a 2nd comeback in the bottom of the 9th.
