The Tri-Village Patriots volleyball
team opened their 2019 season with a win on the road. It was not
pretty at times, but the team fought through their 1st
game jitters and defeated the SWBL's Dixie Greyhounds in straight
sets: 25-11,25-22, 25-18.
This years edition of the team has a
combination of youth plus experience with a mix of sophomores,
juniors, and seniors. So for several of the younger players this was
their 1st varsity match. And although they decisively won
their 1st match, a feisty Greyhound team battled hard the
next 2 sets. The Patriots had to fight from behind....
