South First; Second at CCC Meet

Twin Valley South hosted the Cross County Conference Championships this past week.  It was a successful meet with the TVS boys team finishing 1^st and the girls team 2^nd, Covington finished first.  North boys finished 5^th and Trail was 11^th.  North girls were also 5^th. 

Local first place finishers were Hailey Thies TCN 1^st 100m hurdles(15.43 – meet record); Mylan Crews TVS 100m(12.42 meet record); Troy Bowers TVS 100m; Girls 4X200 relay TVS (Abby Beneke, Grace Stewart, Sidney Mowell, Mylan Crews); 1600m run Madison Wright TVS; Girls 4X100 relay TVS (Madison Johnson, Sidney Mowell, Hosanna Craft, Mylan Crews); 300m hurdles Abby Beneke TVS; 800m run Sammy Shockey TVS; 200m dash Mylan Crews TVS (26.01 – meet record); 200m dash Troy Bowers TVS; Hailey Thies  of TCN and Payton Gates of TVS both finished first in the long jump and high jump.  Shotput Tony Turner TCN.
