Twin Valley South Boys Soccer Team gets their first win of the season vs Madison. Hunter Bennett scored the lone goal of the first half for the panthers off an assist from Aaron Clark. The game remained 1-0 for a while deep into the second half. Jacob Wells broke the game loose when he scored two goals and on his 18th birthday! Hunter Bennett assisted one of those goals and then Bryant Marker added the last goal off an assist from his brother Brayden.
Coach Young:
"I thought we played well today. Madison had some good counter attacks. I told the kids at halftime I thought we could possess the ball and try to slow the ball down a little bit in the second half. We worked a lot on our conditioning in the off season and I thought we could keep wearing them down, and that's what we did."
The panthers will take on Union County Thursday night.
