Tigers Pummel Panthers

It was a long cold bus ride home for the visiting TVS Panthers as they were totally dominated by the Ansonia Tigers.  Both teams entered the game with winning records and with the Tigers currently in 4th position in their district, the Panthers had hopes of knocking them out of contention.  But Ansonia would not be denied on this night.  South made their job easier by failing to convert on 3 4th down conversion attempts and also turning the ball over 3 times on the cold, rainy night.  When the game ended, it was a final score of 43-0 in favor of the Tigers.

Scoring for the Tigers: Reece Stammen 27 yd run; Hunter Buckingham to Hunter Muir 41 yard pass; Stammen 4 yd run; Stammen to Muir 22 yd pass; Barga to Longenecker 8 yard pass.
