Covington Falls to Mechanicsburg in Regional Final

The Covington Defense could not find an answer for the potent Mechanicsburg offense in the regional final game.  The Mechanicsburg line controlled the line of scrimmage and the Indians established the run early.  But they were also successful with the passing game when they opted to go to the air.  Covington had some chances to regain momentum, but couldn't generate offense when it was needed. Final score 42-26. Still Covington can look back on a successful season. Making the regional finals means that you are one of the top 8 teams in the state in your division.
