It has been a hard season for the
Franklin Monroe Jets. They are in the midst of a rebuilding year and
the wins have been few. Likewise, the SWBL's Dixie Greyhounds have
struggled this season. The two leagues frequently play each other
and it is a point of pride for the CCC to get a win over a SWBL team.
In a game of evenly matched teams it can become an exciting contest
and indeed things heated up quickly in the Dixie gym. The visiting
Jets were the eventual victors in a defensive contest 47-34.
