Twin Valley South lost 1-0 to Seton Catholic Monday night, despite controlling the game the entire match. TVS made one mistake and got beat on a throw in that the defenders misjudged and that was the difference in the game. South had 31 shots in the game compared to Setons 5 which was all in the first half. South probably controlled time of possession 75% to 25%.
Coach Young commented, "Seton bunkered down and we couldn't put one in on their small field. I feel as if we would have had a lot more success on a normal size field, but it is what it is. We just got to take it and move on."
He continued, "They are a good team though, and it gives us confidence moving forward that we played so well against a solid team that won a sectional title last season and already has 10 wins this season. This will be good for us moving forward with our remaining schedule. It doesn't get any easier for us but when we play as a unit we can play with almost anyone."
