The Panthers won on senior night 6-2 over the Dunbar Wolverines. Scoring for the Panthers were Jacob Wells, Aaron Clark, Bryant Marker, Hunter Bennett, and Brayden Marker with 2 goals. Jacob Wells and Hunter Bennett each had 2 assists as well. Senior Jacob Denlinger had 9 saves on the night. And seniors Ian Kurtz, Jimmy Mullins, and Travis Lovely all had stellar defensive games.
Coach Young, "I know myself and my assistant coach would like to thank the seniors for the past two years and all the hard work they have put into our program. We are going to miss these seniors next year. We have a lot of great soccer players and an even better group of young men. I feel they have set good examples for our younger players in the program."
He continued, "We still have a lot of soccer left even though that was our last home game. We have Botkins tomorrow, FM Thursday, and then we have Bethel and Milton Union next week. We have a tough remaining schedule but it will be good competition heading into the tournament."
