Coach Myers had to be concerned how his
young team would react playing on the road at TVS after being
manhandled by Arcanum the night before 19-50. Would the team be able
to come back up off the mat and compete? The plucky team showed that
they came to play and built a 1st quarter lead that they
would retain all night. Defensively they held South's Cole Petersen
in check, holding him to 15 points on the night and not allowing him
to score at all in the last quarter. It was a morale building bounce
back win for Franklin Monroe 48-40.
